As followers of Jesus, we rejoice in the words of Jesus and teachings of Jesus.
We believe that God has given to us a perfect, infallible, authoritative resource for knowing him: The Bible.
We believe in one triune God: the Father Almighty, Maker of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, being of one substance with the Father. And in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of life, who proceeds from the Father, who with the Father and the Son together is worshiped and glorified.
We believe in the value of every human life, as we are made in the image of God, yet by our free choice man sinned against God and brought sin into the human race. This sin brings condemnation for our transgression.
We believe salvation comes by faith, through God’s grace, and is given freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption.
We believe that baptism is for believers only, is performed by immersion, and is an act of obedience symbolizing the believers faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.
We believe that communion is a symbolic act to memorialize the death of Christ for our redemption.
We believe in the bodily return of Christ when he will judge all men in righteousness.
We believe at God’s final judgement the righteous will receive everlasting blessing in the new heavens and earth, while the unrighteous will be judged to everlasting torment in Hell.
We believe that marriage is ordained by God to be between a biological male and biological female. We believe that sexual actions that are homosexual or sexual acts outside of the bondage of marriage are sin.
We believe in the autonomy of the local church.
As a Southern Baptist Church, we delight in holding to the beliefs stated in the Baptist Faith and Message (2000).
